I had just finished retreading your amazing story Renascence, when I thought to look at your other stories. I found this one and as I read it was instantly hooked. This story is amazing. I love the character Black Hat and Karl Urban is just awesome in general! I can't wait to see what he wants with her. Your writing is amazing! :)

Digging this fic and I really want to see where things go between Ava and her 'host'. You've left me thirsting for more.

This was really good. I hope you continue. Even though Black Hat was a villain in the movie, he could have easily been an anti-hero of sorts if it was centered around him and not the Priest. You stay true to his character but also elaborate on what goes on in his head. Please continue :)

I liked the breakfast scene, and how you continue the offhanded debating between the two. The tension is there, but on a civil level. I also like how you've revealed a bit more of Ava's past. I wonder how BH will approach her with this new information, if at all.

I officially love Ava's character. Her thought processes are both insightful and unbiased, and I liked how she gave BH a chance to tell her his story. It's obvious she still doesn't trust or like him, but she's being smart.

I love your story so far. I think the fact you've made a Familiar her brother is brilliant, especially since they're obviously still close despite what he has become. Family is always a complicating factor in situations as delicate as these. Black Hat could choose to kill him off at any time if Damien slips up and causes him to believe he's working behind his back with Ava. As for Ava, I love her character in general. I find that OCs in this fandom are either complete b*tches, or they fall head over heels for Black Hat way too quickly for it to feel realistic, so great job in keeping her a balance of civil and fierce! I can't wait to see how their fates become tied.
