Why is Bella holding out so much? I mean it's like she's bribing Edward to make her his wife before they have solid intimacy. I get she doesn't want to live with him before she's got a ring on her finger but...ah, I just don't like this Bella much I guess.

Well Bella set her mother up very nicely. She attempted to throw a Cullen off her property. Bella must have learned some real bitch from Renee to pull that off.

Bella going to Edward upset after seeing her father with another woman shows she really trusts him. I get that these two haven't been intimate yet but to crawl into Edward's bed with her street clothes on? Ick. She could have just borrowed some of his comfy cloths (I have a thing about getting into a clean bed with cloth wore out and about...) Anyway, It was good to see Bella be mature and talk to her dad honestly about his affair. He's been seeing Jane for over two years and these two adult haven't had sex yet? wow. I take it that what Bella asked of her father was for him to reinstate Jasper's trust fund? It's too bad Bella's father couldn't be strong enough to tell his wife, whom he seems to dislike and disrespect, that she/they were wrong taking away their son's money.

Although Bella's mother deserved Bella's wrath, I think to all of a sudden talk trashy about what she was doing in sexual terms was just as disrespectful and wrong as what her mother was throwing her way. A better way would have been to take the high road and show her by action and deed that she was an independent woman and would lead her life as she saw fit.

Bella's 'voice' seems rather 'uppity' like she describes her mother as being. While someone like Esme who reportedly is admired by the 'upper crust' sounds very down to earth, speaking plainly to her son, having a hard liquor drink with her son and more than ok with his tattoo artist choices...And then there's this Rosalie who I gather is the opposite of most other ones as this one is a plain Jane, very girl next door and goes to a party with broken nails and dressing like she doesn't care how she looks. I get it, Rose is supposed to be like Bella in that Bella doesn't care about how she looks but there's a difference between not caring what others think and being down to earth and not trying to at least look put together for your own self esteem around family and friends. But I get it, we are to be solid that both Rose and Bella are not concerned with looks.

This chapter was all over the place for me. First I'm confused about Edward's stop at Yorkie's grave. I understand he left his token and buried it in honor of a fallen mate, what I'm confused about is what this had to do with Bella and why Emmett was questioning him about it. idk, I was confused as to that and then Esme's interference about Jasper and Bella already knowing about Renee and that she shouldn't know how Esme is Edward and Alice's mother. I would think Renee knowing would be a good thing. So if and when she does try to use her children's relationships to get to Esme, so what, why hide it and just bring it to light, show Renee they can be respectful to each other in hopes she'd accept her children as is...Don't know if any of that made sense but I'm a little confused with all that happened so quickly with Edward's return and instant kiss...

I do understand why Bella's high society mother would be ashamed of Jasper's choice of dream job. I mean being a tattoo artist isn't high brow stuff but cutting him off from his family money and I take it his parents themselves is really harsh. But I wonder if Bella's mother won't change her tune once she finds out Esme's son has the same dream job as she kicked her own son to the curb for. I think Bella should tell her mother about Esme being the mother of Edward and who he is to Jasper etc.
I enjoyed Edward's coming home entrance and Bella's excitement.

Interesting to meet, while talking to Bella's new boss and Edward via his aunt.

Again, picture perfect for Bella to get a dream job with Edward's aunt and Jasper gets his dream job, Edward too and they are now partners...what a wonderful life.

What coincidences that Bella and Edward would be connected to now Jasper etc. Hard to believe but oh so much fun to read about.

Wow Bella did give out a lot of TMI in that one letter. But Edward seems to want more from this 'odd' girl.

What an interesting way to meet. Edward and Emmett must have some sibling rivalry for Edward to join the Seals just to 'show' his brother he could be a badass. I love reading about our military, we own them so much respect. Happy to have found this story.
