I keep getting so enthralled with the story that i'm halway through the next chapter before I remember I didn't review the one before. I blame you, of course. I'm a little worried about Rick and Darrell, but not too much.

The description in this chapter gave me chills. That last bit in the tree? Cold, man. Super cold and right on.

I know it wasn't but this felt like an ending. Was this a place you originally considered stopping?

Your Rick/Daryl interaction is makin me itch for a Rickyl story from you. Not necessarily romantic, but definitely featuring a bromance or similar.

And again I suck I'm so late. I really thought I had already reviewed this. I know I read it. But I was just thinking that it had been a while since I had gotten any notifications from you (hint nudge cough) and I thought I would come here and make sure that I hadn't left you hanging like you left us hanging. But I did. So I guess we're both rude (one of us slightly more so than the other) (hint: the more rude one is you).

I just want everyone to be happy. I know that's too much to ask, but ugh we just got Beth back and now you start this chapter with us losing Daryl :( bad exchange. I want them both. Together. Always. I love every aspect of their relationship (friendly or otherwise).

I can't quite remember if I mentioned this, but I do like that there's a mention of Maggie in here. Yes, her seeing Beth dead on the show was heartbreaking, but having her be ignored by everyone except Daryl for the entire season thus far was more annoying than that scene was heartwrenching. Okay. Not really. But you get my drift. Love also seeing Daryl and Rick work together so smoothly. That's a bond I've never tried to tackle, nor will, but it's comforting that you at least haven't torn EVERYONE apart. Just poor Beth, who's flashback scenes are not getting any easier to read... I imagine that they're not supposed to be, but I spend pretty much the entire time reading cringing into my seat. But then you put something in there like her remembering Daryl's voice, and it gets me through to the end of the chapter...

Anyways. Please do write another chapter. I'm one to talk, but still, I'm a more impatient reader than I am writer, and I demand an update. I need all the Bethyl I can get. Especially if it's not tacky cliche swoony Daryl/teenage Beth stuff.

I liked the conversation between Maggie and Beth. Feels like the show cuts out the power of sibling relationships but you haven’t. Bravo.

Another jewel was Rick and Daryl’s silent conversation. I giggled when one of the pursers said “why are we chasing them?” Because I had thought that too! I sincerely hope that even though R & D are exhausted from their run they can end these two.

I will confess to skimming the paragraph where Beth describes what she did to her captor. I am glad she got her revenge, even if I chose not to read the details.
