I really enjoyed this story. I only wish Dash and Bolt had been included in the epilogue. I wanted to see something about the two of them and their kittens... and their kids playing with Plucky's cubs. The close relationship with Dash also got a bit forgotten toward the ending. But other than that it was well done. When I was reading the story in the early chapters I had already imagined a scenario about Dash meeting her love... it was fairly similar to what you came up with. I had named him Flash and he had run into Plucky while he was racing Dash as Flash was trying to throw off the fox chasing Dash not knowing they were friends. The part about climbing the tree and squirrel was funny... not sure if a hare can climb trees but it was imaginative.

All right. Awesome batch I read through! First off the train chapter. I know what it is like to oversleep. Well, I mean once I had to catch a train right away, and I couldn't find my wallet so I was in my room panicking. Then I found it on the floor. The chapter after that, well its nice to see humans portrayed positively. Well I mean I see a lot of animal stories where humans are depicted as the bad guys but it was nice to see Plucky help out that woman. It shows that we are not so different after all. We are all trying to survive on this world.

But 14 was my fav! It just wouldn't be a Farthing Wood fanfic is somebody didn't get drunk. Though I would have peppered their speech with more hiccups. Least Dash. Mainly because I find drunken hiccups adorable and with Dash I imagine them to be really 's funny that Scarlet and Bolt were the "designated drivers" so to speak.

Loved these past two chapters! I'm glad Dash got a mate. Such a good couple they make. I've read plenty of fanfics where Dash got a mate, but Bolt seems like a perfect fit for her. Makes me want to come up with some fan children for them. Or at least one. The tree bit was humorous and imaginative. The chapter with the lake reminds me heavily of something I saw in a video game, only that game had zombies in it. And the line with the badger, it reminds me of some of the dialogue Fox had with that one cat in Season 1.

Well, I got two down and a looooooottttt more to go.

Wow that was a great chapter! The cold situation they found themselves in really reminded me of some of the winters where I live (Chicago). It kind of shows animals must have a natural born resistance to this kind of weather. I like being human, but animals have a real survival instinct to it.
