it feels a bit rushed even if it brought tears to my eyes. it's still a sweet story.

I love your fics and this one was just so sweet. It's nice getting inside Goku's head and seeing how much he doesn't understand. Makes him a lot more relatable when he has to face personal issues :)

this is so sad

that was beautiful and kind of sad. Despite not being there permanently, he still has a place in his family. it's kind of sad that he never got to bond with goten and gohan. I mean the his bond with gohan is broken somehow. they never bonded when he returned. I am happy that goku and chichi reunited somewhat and came to an understanding. this was a very touching story, you really put things into perspective. keep up the good work.

Such a thoughtful look into the mind of Goku. You managed to show his side of things, while at the same time allowing him to see beyond his own perspective and make a necessary change. And you did so in a manner that was believable. Very well done.

Great first chapter!

So I can't tell if this is meant to be a one-shot or not but I'm hoping that it's not! This has much potential! Goku has made some amends with Chi-Chi but how does Gohan feel towards his father, or how about Goku's presence will affect Goten growing up.

Don't end the story here, especially since you could establish so much

Very good! Although it was sad at times, this is what their relationship is like. If ChiChi wasn't strong to begin with, their marriage would have fallen apart a long time ago.
