What woman wouldn't want that focused, careful attention? You do a beautiful job of conveying what April is not only thinking, but feeling. And Raph is at his best, a little snarky, still tough, but clearly enjoying taking care of her. It was cute when he so adamantly said he could handle taking care of her. So enjoying these moments between them.

These continue to be extremely well written and are slowly inching their way up to becoming some of the best one-shots I've ever read. And I mean that in terms of EVERY one shot (across a handful of different 'verses) I have read in the space of the 12 odd years I've been reading.

I enjoyed the cheekiness to their first interaction. The playful flirtiness that the probably don't even realize they're doing. And that April still manages to be sarcastic despite the pain she's obviously in speaks to how awesome you continue to make her character.

Like in Risks when we see Raph's PoV when April is fixing him up, I enjoy seeing her thoughts as he returns the favour. (Quick question out of curiosity, are these ones shots a continuation of the same timeline or do they all stand alone?) I like the fact that she doesn't seem to see a turtle (or what have you) when she looks at him, and that she doesn't seem to be ashamed or particularly bothered by the fact that she's attracted to him.

I'll admit at this point you're killing me with the UST. It's like watching a tv show and rooting for a pairing to get together only to see it happen somewhere around Season Four... I guess what I'm trying to say is, that as much as I love seeing the buildup, please... please don't make me wait four years for it... :D

Love, love, love the banter between Raph and April. They're not afraid to give each other grief, but it sort of borders on foreplay. At least I hope it does. ANYWAY.
Possessive!Raphael is the best! He doesn't want anyone to tend to April except him. I love the slow burn, love the tension, the dialogue, the in-character-ness, all of it!
God help anyone who ever tried to hurt April, sheesh! X)
