Good story, ending felt a little rushed. One minute they were friends and the next they are a couple.

I really, really have been wanting to wrap my head around Cloud/Angeal being a viable pair- I've read a few other stories, even tried to write one. I never believed it worked until I read this though.

It's just so...subtle how it builds up, how they grow close. I absolutely love that about all your stories that I've read so far, it's never an instant or assumed situation, it just plays out and makes sense. On the surface this pairing is just...awkward, in my opinion. By the end of your story though, it's just . they're so cute! I'm gonna go stalk your page for more haha

Wark! (Fust! FluffCloud shud NOT set the building on fiah…..is danjawus. At fust Boko cudn’t imagine FluffCloud bein nawty…then him thought “Oh yus Boko can!” Then Boko found out it was cuz him thought sumwon was in twouble & Boko thought “gud job FluffCloud!” Boko finks the idea of BigSOLDIERman wif a garden is vewy cute! Watchin them bond ovah flowahs was even cuterer! Also BigSOLDIERman issa gud teacherer. Boko is happy that BigSOLDIERman & FluffCloud is best gud fwiends now cuz they is so cute! Boko hopes FluffCloud makes it into SOLDIER! Gud job TobiTobi!)

I'm having a hard time reviewing because I am speechless!
Angeal's perfect, the slow build-up is perfect, everything is perfect! I can truly feel the love you have for Angeal, you can make anyone fall hard for him through your writing.

Oh, and that flashback was terribly exciting, I was horrified that the SOLDIERs would do such a thing! Yay for Cloud being 100 percent Cloud, and yay again for our favourite Firsts, who are just like him!

See, what happened was, I saw the little notification, like, a half-hour after you posted this and I got about two paragraphs into it before I went, "Crap! I haven't written anything this week!" So I wrote my thing and as I'm cleaning out my inbox of other things, I saw the notification and went, "Crap! I never finished read that!" Thus, I am reading. I'm actually writing this before I read it, so I'll let you know the verdict in a minute or thirty.

(I'm at the part with the materia and I just realized I totally had Genesis cast materia without a bracer in Making the Cut. Whoops xD)

Okay. Now that I've read it: confession time. I've never particularly liked Angeal. He frustrated me and we never really clicked. That being said, I was skeptical about whether or not I would like this, but I think I underestimated your abilities as a writer just a wee bit because I LOVED this. LOVED IT. SO MUCH LOVE. I know I keep saying it, but your Cloud is the best Cloud ever, and I have no idea how you did it, but you managed to keep Angeal in character without letting him get boring. For the first time EVER, I was rooting for those two to get together. It isn't difficult to get me to enjoy something I already like, but you made me enjoy something I DON'T usually like and I wish I had some sort of award to give you for that. The little bits of humor you threw in were awesome (Plant boy!) and the detail was excellent and I'm just hoping that by continuing to consume your wonderful, wonderful work, some of your awesome will rub off on me via osmosis. Or something like that.

This was amazing from start to finish.

The description was so vivid, so real. From the gyms to the missions to the Materia lessons to even the gardening. I could easily imagine everything and that shows how good you are. I really love how you built the CC-canon world and added more to it, and can I just gush about how you casually added female SOLDIERs? Because I noticed and I totally love you for it.
And the characterization! Oh, what can I say about your amazing characterization. Everyone was perfect, hands down. Cloud's thing of not following orders when they clash with his morals is so spot-on (and it's totally what he did in BC, so it's you know, canon). Your Angeal is perfect as well, one of the best that's for sure. I wish I could Angeal the way you Angeal.
One trope I love above all others regarding relationships is slow-built relationships, the kind you see progressing right before your eyes and can pinpoint exactly the point where everything clicked. I have to say, you totally nailed it. Nailed it perfectly.

This is beautiful, one of the best works one could ever hope to find for this pairing. Keeping being awesome, hun ;)
