I've been reading your story over the past few days and i absolutely love it. You are very talented and I'm happy you're not giving up on the story.
Firstly, i know exactly what you're talking about so no, no i do not hate you. Sometimes it can be really hard to find the right words that will portray exactly what you want the reader to see. So i hope you overcome your writer's block and post a chapter soon.
Also, I see where you're coming from when you talk about your previous chapters and because i read your story over a reasonably short time, i can actually see how you 'evolved' as an author. I agree that your writing is much better now then it was back then but in my opinion you shouldn't pause the story just to improve previous chapters. Just my personal opinion, you are free to do whatever you wish of course. And about reposting the story or replacing it chapter by chapter, I personally say you should replace it chapter by chapter because yo will already have the plot in front of you, you will just have to add more detail.
To help you with your writer's block, maybe you can brainstorm and write everything you want to be in the chapter on a piece of paper and then work your way from there and fill in the blank. Hope this helps!
