Lady Shadilay chapter 1 . 11/25/2017 By far one of my favorite madoka magica fanfics, it's so good the characterization was on point and very creative way to portray Mami's (Candeloro) Labyrinth |
Sonanoka21093 chapter 1 . 11/7/2014 Well, that was rather interesting. Was that supposed to be a witch of Mami? I honestly know little about this series, but isn't she supposed to be dead? Or is this another timeline, where her head wasn't bitten off? Always so many variables... Definitely a creative witch, though. |
strangess chapter 1 . 11/5/2014 Another excellent short scene. Even if it plays up the "Mami always beats Homura" trope in the Madokaverse :) It's a good explanation I think of how the delusions a witch channels through her kiss affect her victims. Very poignant ending. |
James Birdsong chapter 1 . 8/9/2014 Awesome |
Vousnetes Passeul chapter 1 . 8/8/2014 I like this a lot! Very nice and unique take on how Candeloro and her barrier would behave, and it also does a good job of portraying Homura as competent and driven without making her too powerful - I like that you kept in mind that Mami's ribbons are a proven counter to Homura's magic. The prose is nice too! Though I think you made a minor typo at one point; "It will need cleaned soon, especially if" you forgot 'to be' between 'need' and 'cleaned. My only substantial nitpick - and this might even just be me being stupid - is that there seems to be a unwritten rule in canon that witch-kisses don't affect magical girls. If they did, wouldn't a witch just kiss any girl who came after her, and either keep her or kill her? So it would've made more sense to me to portray Candeloro's brainwashing as something different from the average kiss. Then again, I guess the idea is that it worked because Homura was overpowered first? Anyway, I love it! |
Psykoakuma chapter 1 . 8/8/2014 Oh hell yes! Fantastic job FANFIC FAIRY! Seriously, I love this one! It's so creative! I could feel a little tea party Alice in Wonderland style madness! There's a little KyoHomu bro style. And of course it's a solid portrayal of the truly cursed existence of magical girls. Very nice! |
