In season 2 I'd like to see more of Grunkle Stan bonding with the kids, learn more about his past, and also learn more about Dipper and Mabel's home life. Seriously, they NEVER talk about home or missing their parents at all. It makes me wonder if Alex Hirsch will make an excuse to keep them in Gravity Falls once the summer is over or if the mystery will follow them home for a short while. I wonder if the mysteries of Gravity Falls have been controlling their lives since they were born, or if it would really be so simple as to leave GF and not have to deal with any of it anymore.
