Though to be fair Trump often invites the false stories by saying things as if he knows what it takes to make them upset.

This is EXACTLY what it's like for Trump except the opposite. He wants America first and the media tries and is succeeding in making a villain out of him. Talk show host Prager University is well respected and has interesting videos online about why the academic press is the way it is and how the older standards would not tolerate this mess.

This is a great story. I'm sorry you weren't able to keep it up, but I understand how that happens when your live goes through major changes. Thanks for what is here. I can imagine that Dumbledore would have gotten caught. He really hadn't covered his tracks well, Harry would have become known as an advocate for children with his planned orphanage, and by the time he attends Hogwarts (assuming he does), he'll be known for something he's comfortable with, no one will expect him to be super-human, and even the abuse revelation will have had a few years to become old news. So the story isn't finished, and at this point I don't expect it to be, but I can see a vague outline of how it would have gone.

This started out sad (sad and well done), but is shaping up to be a awesome story. I wonder how prepared the wizarding world is for a boy brought up by a politician...

Harry, Kingsley, and others remember what Figg said about taking Harry to Dumbledore and other things she said about him. Since Kingsley is also an Auror, that should help when an inquiry is done and hopefully pull out that information to link to Figg losing her memories. I can just imagine that Albus is not supposed to do things like that to others.

I hope someone else will be found that knows that Albus and Figg interacted...like Kingsley.

I think Roe is going to be grateful for her sister, but she will recognize an obliviation of her sister.
