this was pretty spot on as far as characterization goes. I think like you said they both have matured and the chip on Astrid's shoulder is gone. I also like that you portrayed Hiccup more confident. I see him still sort of nervous and uncertain, but he is confident in himself, even if not in his abilities as chief or otherwise...does that make sense? He has ideas, and might not always be confident in the execution of them, but he'll try them anyways.

I also like that you made the marriage so informal. Kinda like "four years...wanna...get married?" This is a great piece. Good job.

When I read other shows or movies fics, I dislike too much fluff, but Hiccup and Astrid fluff has never seemed to bother me. I want to see them sing For the Dancing and the Dreaming during their wedding!

I also want to see the little side-show that is Fishlegs and Snotlout fighting for Ruffnut while she chases Eret son of Eret. Also, drunk Tuffnut and Snotlout should tons of fun.
