What about Shinichi in the hospital and in a coma? Or he lost his memory after an accident and doesn't remember being in a relationship with Kaito - better, he only remembers Ran! I really couldn't imagine him leaving Kaito for any other reason.

I think it's way more painful when someone You love die than when you two break up, because when the other died its like he just vanish But al your memories, wishes and dreams stay with you unable to accomplish them. It's really sad

I read the summary two stories earlier, am encountered with the overwhelming curiosity about what happened to Kaito x Shinichi, then have trouble breathing in the third part of the story.

I love your work, but must you make us readers cry? I'm going to be hiding in my little fantasy world where the antidote made Shinichi drop into a coma and when Kuroba-san comes home the doctors think Shinichi won't wake up only for Haibara-chan to call Kaito the day after Kuroba-san comes home to say she found the problem and was able to create a stabilizer so Shinichi wakes up and he and Kaito can be happy again.

I read this story before but didn't write a review. Now I found out that 'The Midnight Dream' is writing a sequel/continuation to this story, so here I am again. :D
I like this story not much, I mean it's nicely written, but it's not my type as I don't like sad endings.

Shinichi totally died. Because if they broke up both of them would be dead.

I agree with 'farawisa'. Either Shinichi died, or he was just turned into Conan and Kaito hasn't met Conan at Conan's 1st KID heist.
