This is a great fanfic. I normally don't write comments, but I just got nostalgic there too, with Anne of Green Gables with Meagan Follows. I've never listened to the soundtrack outside of the films, and I haven't even seen them at home. Anne of Green Gables is something I watched with my twin sister and my grandmother from my dad's side. My sister and I are actually going to visit her and my grandfather tomorrow, but we'll sadly only be staying for about three days. I'm hoping to watch some Anne while we visit, but with all the catching up, and plans, and everything, I'm not sure how much time we'll have. Sorry for blurting out a small part of my private life. In my time zone, it is currently just after one o'clock in the morning, and I don't know what I'm doing awake right now.

When I received the email notification for this new chapter, I seriously thought that I was dreaming, a good dream that is...

I don't think that I have ever commented or reviewed in this story before, if so, I am sorry for that, but you should know that I have been following this story from the first moment you had posted the first chapter !

I thought that this chapter continued naturally on where ou had last left Anne, Gilbert, Diana, Roy and all the rest of them in you'r previous chapter !

Gil foxing a class to be able to come and see Anne perfom !

Anne receiving an A for her performance !

Roy challenging himself with a new piece !

Gil finding the nerves and courage to finally ask Anne out on a date...

Anne not really paying attention to what he was saying, because she was affraid she would miss Roy... And finally, and sadly rejecting Gil's proposition...

Roy coming by their side, him asking Anne out on a date in his own way, Anne knowing that this is all that she had been waiting and dreaming for, for so long, but she kept thinking about the bizzare way that Gilbert simply stormed off of the theatre, she agreeing to Roy's proposition...

This was so good !

I do hope to read more on this story soon !

Hi! I just discovered your story and really love it:-) i hope everythings going okay with you, and jt would be great if you could update soon, but no pressure at all. Im not going to try to give any advice on the story, because ive seen the other reviews and they're all far better than mine could be;-) but, just dont give up! Youre a really good writer!

OMG THIS STORY IS ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER READ AND I HAVE READ OVER ONE THOUSAND BOOKS IN MY LIFETIME!
I WILL DEFINITELY BE KEEPING UP WITH THIS BOOK! Maybe you should write, in the best chapter, about Anne's performance and if maybe Gil is in her drama class and he gets up and starts clapping because he feels this swelling of his heart of pride and love (eeee) for Anne and Anne doesn't care because she is looking for Roy's reaction and Roy is just like 'Wow okay that was good will you go with me Anne?' And Anne is just like 'of course Roy!' And Gilbert will get all jealous and go out with Christine and then Anne & Roy and Gilbert & Christine go to the same restaurant or something and they end up double dating or something. I don't even know because you are the author and I shouldn't be telling you how to write your book but maybe it'll will help you get out of your writer's block or at least it will help! DON'T STOP WRITING! :) 3

Hey Charlotte, I'm embarrassed to admit I missed your last post and it was super good, I raced through it wanting to know what happened next, I laughed at Rachel listening in, was almost taken in by Anne's feelings for Roy (Anne giggled?) and loved the final scene with Roy and Gil and the girls on the bleachers. It really is a great story and I hope you continue.
Any advice? First of all don't change a thing about your style or your voice or your pace or your characterisation. It's perfect.
Second, you write lovely generously long chapters, but maybe the length is exhausting you. What you wrote in your last chapter could have been split into two, maybe even three. Maybe if you knew you only had to write 1000 words, or even 2000 it would feel more achievable. I know it helped me when I wrote the diary story. Make your updates shorter, then perhaps you might post more regularly and wouldn't feel so blah about letting people down.
Third, you're only a failure if you give up. You haven't given up, I know you haven't because you care. You care about your writing, and you care about it being good.
Four, get Christine into this story, pronto, if that doesn't get you excited, it will definitely get Anne excited ;o)

Oh no, no, no! Please don't feel like you owe anyone anything, Charlotte. You write and post when you want to.
Those that read what you write generally love it and if you are proud of what you post, nothing else are NOT a failure.
Sometimes just sitting and writing doesn't work. I know that when I get writers block I just start thinking of where the story left off and start writing it in my head. Anything that comes up (even if it seems like rubbish), I type. That's when I read it over. From there I have a few options:
A) Start completely from scratch. For example, if you wrote from Anne's point of view pick a new character to follow.
B) Add more details and see if it works out.
C) Leave it. Come back to it later. Who knows, maybe it'll look better to you if you let your mind rest and the draft sit.
I don't know if that will help you at all, but maybe it is worth a try?

I love it. Can't wait to see Anne try and stay in denial and for Gilbert to be a sweetheart. Hope to read an update soon. :-)

I still don't like Roy. Gil needs to fight for her!
