Wow. I found this years ago, you know - and I was looking for well-written Gokusen fic and stumbled upon it again. What are the odds? I remember this so clearly; it really impacted, and I can't believe I didn't review. Truly and wholly, this is a great fic. The stumbling format that contrasts with the stories' perfect grammar and capitalization, the characterization, and, above all, the last night, are really thought-provoking. Thank you!
