I understand why Emily can't perform it but I really miss all Emily's badass action scenes that highlighted season 4

Ahhhh, greetings again my dear! At last I have a chance to review the latest update to this amazing Revenge gem! So glad you've kept it going, and as always the concept is a fresh dose of Revenge fanfare mixed with all the right Demily feels – loved it!

Jumping right in, as usual your knack for imagery and bringing all the detailed elements of a scene to life are on point, beginning with the very first Demily scene! I love their doting mannerisms, how Emily helps Daniel with his tie and affectionately grazes him while battling the aftereffects of keeping something secret. It's a familiar path for these two, and even though they have progressed to a place of honesty, somehow it always seems instinctive for Em to keep some things mum, at least at first. You could totally understand why here, since it was after all, Aiden, her former love and an admittedly bold rival of Daniel's. Great usage of the underlying tension in that scene, I could feel every moment! And again, I'm so excited about Aiden's return/introduction here (but more on that later…)

Truly enjoyed Emily's interaction with David in this chapter, as her pregnancy adds depth to their shared perspective—her natural protective instincts are only intensified by the cusp of motherhood, and I think it made so much sense that it forced her to call in help to protect her dear ol' dad! Keeping in line with the "truth" theme, it was perfect timing for David to open up to her and I really admire how he's learning so much about his daughter and even acknowledged that she's constantly a step ahead of him. Great collaboration for those two and I feel their relationship really growing!

Also top marks for letting Aiden be the one to do the "torturing", since I always felt that was rather harsh, even for our most dedicated heroine. Though she admits here to probably doing the same thing given the chance, it would have been slightly cringeworthy, lol… and OMG the scene btw Daniel, her and Aiden was SO charged and full of jealous sparks flying everywhere! No wonder Nolan took off, can't blame him! As much as I root for our Demily I've always loved how arrogant and smug Aiden can get in Daniel's presence—he knows exactly how to lord his past with Emily over him, throwing every little thing in his face, smh… As usual it had the expected result and I'm glad Emily reprimanded him for it but ugh, that's just good drama right there! Bravo for stirring things up a bit, and your embodiment of Aiden's character is spot on with all his quippy remarks – loved it! And happily our couple still reconciled so it all worked out, which brings me to my favorite moment…

If there was any scene that amped up the physical & emotional tension between Daniel and Emily on the show, it was the one from "Intel" that you so cleverly reconstructed here! I always LOVED how Daniel just slid up next to her with this air of familiarity and it worked so well with your adjustments, especially as it helped them to work out their trust issues. Having it reaffirmed that the baby is his and Emily clearly needs him is so valuable to the vulnerable side of Daniel's character and I thought it was a perfect time for them to have open air on all topics. Emily has also grown to be so open and humble in your story and I love that everything they've been through has really increased her character development. Five stars!

Lastly, with all of the Malcolm Black plot development going on (which I'm excited to see how that pans out for everyone and how Jack reacts to what we know will eventually unravel about Kate) there's still time for a perfect warm & fuzzy ending :) Not cheesy at all, I adored Daniel's sweet gesture in getting them all baby-ready and of course I was THRILLED that Ems took the first step to actually propose to him this time around! Unconventional as it may be, I agree it is her turn and it certainly feels like 3rd time's a charm! Love that you incorporated that, and of course I swooned at Daniel's answer – perfection!

All that being said, can't wait to see what's in store for their re-wedding, and getting prepared for the forthcoming drama that I know is to be expected in a Revenge tale lol… but please keep up the good work and you know how much I just love reading your stories, this was a real treat this week! Always happy to read another chapter of this story, and excited that it seems to be edging closer to game changing events. The proposal felt a little forced - I almost expected them to openly enjoy being in a place where they didn't need to worry about marriage - but understand that it's all the fantasy of the Daniel/Emily that could have been.
