I LOVED this story! I love that you didn't do the typical Charles/Erik story. Instead of doing the typical. they find each other and everything is sunshine and rainbows, but made it your own with twists and turns. Thank you for this story and i look forward to reading others that you have written!

I really love your story. It's very well made, and I love the characterization of every single character. :-)

That was great. Charles certainly has a lot of things flowing through his mind now. I like how Charles and Erik have a debate over tea vs. coffee. And I like how Erik was laughing silently at Raven telling Charles that he needed to eat more. Hopefully seeing the sights of New York will help Charles clear his head and feel better about everything.

That was great. I'm glad that Raven finally got someone to help her get Charles to open up. Leave it to the ex-boyfriend to be capable of the task. Charles truly did reveal a whole lot about his relationship with Jon. I'm not really sure how Charles managed to stay with Jon for the seven years, unless Jon didn't start to abuse him until a year or two into their relationship. I can't wait to see what happens next.

That was great. With the lies that Charles gave her I'm surprised that Raven didn't try to press him harder for more information about what happened to cause his injuries. She probably would have if she hadn't been late for work. If it really had been a book to give him a bruise on his chest then that book must have been huge and have fallen from the top of a tall bookshelf. Charles's nightmares seem to make Raven more curious over what's really happened to him too. Hopefully Charles will choose to tell her the truth sooner rather than later.

That was great. I bet that if Raven hadn't been battling a hangover she would have been asking Charles all of those questions that she was thinking of. Is she ever going to notice the cast on Charles's wrist though? We seem to learn a little bit more and more about this Jon. He seems like a really dark person. I can't wait to see what happens next.

That was a great and interesting start. I like the idea of them being in the present and not have powers. I am curious to learn more about what happened to Charles and who this Jon person is.

I am absolutely head over heels in love with this story! Oh I just discovered it today and I couldn't stop reading! Oh, it was feels city for me! You are amazing at capturing their personalities :D I just shipped them so hard! It's one in the morning where I'm at, but I'm reading the most wonderful and perfect story now, so sleep can wait! ;) haha One more thing, I just wanted to say that I strive to be like you (not all stalker-y here, sorry) with your stories. I read what you wrote in bold about not wanting to be like the authors that write then abandon (((because that's totally me))). I'm working on that haha ;) don't fall into that hole, because it's damn hard to get out of it. Anyway, I really really really loved your story to bits! C: I'm glad they got a happy ending in their own way. Oh, and I loved your cliffhangers (makes me wish I would have found this sooner so the suspense would build so terribly good then I'd get excited at the update)! Haha I missed those days when I used to be on here more often... Okay, now I'm done :) I'll gladly check out more of your writings, you amazing and Cherik-y perfect author!

Can I just say that this has been my absolute favorite Cherik fic to read? I know I should have reviewed before but I just get caught up and don't know what to say other than I love this story! That being said...I love this story, lol! I think you characterize everyone well, and just enough happens each chapter to keep the plot going smoothly.
