Only thing that stuck out as weird to me: Talon and Ingo being retired so Malon would be alone on the ranch. Ingo I could believe, since the game never specifies if he's her uncle or if that's where his parallels to Luigi end, but Talon just up and leaving his young daughter to run an entire ranch on her own, without even seeing her married first? It strikes me as being uncharacteristic.
