That almost sounded like there would be a sequel.

I think this was great even if it was really dark. Then again, demon are as dark as they come.

Wow harry is finally on his own and gets beat up by muggles... Very disappointing that harry is just angsty n whiny that apparently can't survive without ending up being beaten by muggles.

Lovely bit of dark. I enjoy both these fandoms, so I was pleased to find a story that covered a little seen topic. Yes, Michaelis is Not A Nice Person. You did that very well. Yes, Harry was remarkably stubborn in holding onto his humanity, but that is in character for his ... character. You did *that* very well, too. Yes, Voldemort would. more likely than not, choose Life over anything else even to the choice of becoming a partner of sorts to an infernal creature.
I enjoyed the bit where it was explained that demons are amoral. Creepy, violent, anti-social, somewhat psychotic, but amoral about it all. Thank you for that.
I look forward to reading a few of your other stories. I have them lined up and want to see if your curiously open minded way of looking at canon (and finding the bits that work) continues in other works. It's always nice to find someone who doesn't necessarily write that things are all Black and White.

(Firstly. I am writing this review on ff app, so I can only hope it will not mangle my comment when I post it. If thete will be weird cut frases, then it probably will not be my fault. And ff app really does like idiotically edit-censor my comments. Now, you were warned and to what I really wanted to say...) Hmmm, you know, this fic is not the most beautifuly written story I've ever read. Nor the most poetic, metaphoric... I mean it's strenght does not lies in the beauty of the language used or stylistics (I love when authors are flowery when it works, I mean, when it is well done.), no, it's in it's idea, the premise. It is both original (Sebastian as father) yet not unusual (Harry having different biological father). I enjoyed reading it (I write my comment now, after my 2nd time read). It's really charming story. It's language is stark, simple... but... it fits it, you know? I... like how you depicted Sebastian. How he interacts with Harry. The strange mix of care-caring and cruelty. (And the fact that he behaves differently comparing to other demon-parents... I wonder if he remembers his 1st family (which he lost- the prequel). In the beginning I thought he does not remember them, but... here and there you practically wrote he does, so... Either way I think this is what (sub)consciously affects his behaviour. That's the reason why he is so... doting.) And I also liked the ending, it's bit nicely open ended. Lovely. Really. I like this fic because... because of its darkness. Because... everything went to hell for Harry, when his "one hell of father" found him. I am that kind of reader that enjoys more those nasty, darker kinds of oh-look-you-have-new-or-different-parent of fics (full of strife and where nothing is easy, where his new parent is more darker, possessive... ummm, just not really normal-boring :D etc.) rather than those kinds of fics where everything is lovey, rosy, everyone is happy, content, the new parent could singlehandedly win the award of "best papamama of the world" etc. etc. Just... your fic, with the way you wrote Sebastian (and Harry etc...) is just... really my kind of fic (this genre). :D I thank you for writing it- the whole trilogyand finishing it), trust me, I appreciate your effort. I like your fics in general. Bb.

Literally can see Harry's gradual fall to his demonic side and his bullheadedness combined with newfound apathy/patience regarding his plan to take down both Sebas-chan and Voldie... wow. Just wow.
