I remember Avatar: The Last Airbender vividly. Ah, the childhood memories! If only there were better shows like this one in the world today...how times change... :/
That aside, good job! I could imagine everything as it was happening.
One thing I did notice though is the italics. I read your Avengers fic and I said the same thing. I know the italics at the end of this fic invoked thought, but throughout this fic the italics seemed unnecessary (unless that bit of Katara and Aang was a flashback, in which case that was correct).
