This fic was so good. So wonderfully long and detailed and it was such a journey for Myka and Helena. I love how their relationship evolved, along with their maturity and vulnerability. I loved HG’s struggle and how she became a family woman. I love how Myka understood her and pushed her to be her best, but also never gave up on her. I love how Pete and Irene became HG’s close friends and supporters. It was just so interesting to see H.G. work through her failures, her struggles with ego, her fallibility, her anger and her passions. I love Hag Wells and I appreciate how you have Helyka a very real chance. Your OC Drew was even quite special. I love this fic! Thanks so much for sharing this!

Love this story and was hoping to see the sequel that you had mentioned in the earlier chapters. Regardless, it is one of the best Bering/Wells fics our there. Thank you for the fantastic journey and hope to see more from you in the future.

I echo everyone's comments that this has to be one of the best, well-written stories I've read on this website. I haven't been back to in almost a decade and you've made me fall in love with these characters all over again. I feel like you've captured the essence of B&W without making incredibly angsty or cheesy, capturing the playfulness of the show. Awesome story. Really loved the banter and character interactions. Having the story from H.G.'s point of view was also very entertaining. I liked how the plot wasn't a laborious angst-filled interpretation on how B&W get back together, but rather having to solve a puzzle and save the day naturally brings B&W together - as it should be. Just one question though, why is the final chapter dated 2016 if the story is set 10 years after season 5? Anyways, thank you very much for sharing.

Thanks so much for this happy ending, for leaving this family in a good place. It was nice to see Helena work through her demons throughout this story and it appears she has made it through to the other side relatively intact. Helena's relationship with Drew is quite sweet and it was nice to see that he valued his relationship with her more than Helena realized. Baby Ellis is also sweet and the glimpses of how he came to be in their lives were lovely. And Helena's interaction with Mrs. Fredric and the gift of that book from Charles had me crying. This was a beautiful story. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

One of, if not the, best B&W efforts out there for me. An epic journey, beautifully realised with very human portrayals post canon. Thank you for your dedication, and that final chapter was the perfect conclusion. :))

Wow. I firstly want to say congratulations, for finishing such a gargantuan effort. And secondly, thank you, because despite being dark and deep, this may also have been one of the most adorable stories I have ever read. Helena's redemption, her new son Ellis, his bub-bub-bub being the saddest outboard motor in the world... well. I am not sure whether I snickered or said 'aw' first. Sorry to see this finished, but also glad to see another completed B&W story from such an amazing writer. Kudos. :)

This story... (sigh). I was curious how you would end this and I gotta say I really liked how you did it. Helena will likely still have to deal with the horrible things she did to those men but Myka will be there to help her. The last scene of chapter 22 was great: Helena didn't need to tell Myka what she already knew (that she loved her) and she is starting to accept Myka's forgiveness; she just needed to tell Myka she was no longer running away. And after all the anger, and intensity and the harrowing events, one of my most favorite lines came from Vanessa "everything you touch becomes a chicken". Ha! That made me laugh out loud. :) I look forward to the epilogue. Thanks for sharing your work with us.

i got a feeling that something will happen to helena. the ones behind those artificial artifacts won't take it lightly that she stopped them. i want more angst and myka taking care of helena. ugh if only..
