This is one of the loveliest things. Their rediscovering of intimacy was delicately put but very in character, and I loved John picking up his pace to get home to the cottage. The teeny socks are so sweet and their reactions to one another perfect and so loving. How I wish this would happen in the show!

Ah, a sweet outcome after so much hardship. I liked the part about their intimacy being completely in their hands and that she was his sole concern. Beautifully done.
