Nice story! I like streampunk and the outside's description was interesting. I'm guessing that the thing Feliks tore out was a tracker or an identifier of some kind? Just my guess. :) In the 5th paragraph of the first chapter you wrote "she" instead of "he" when talking about Alfred.
