It's been years since I first read your story and I instantly fell in love with your story, the setting, the way you wrote these characters ... everything. I've been meaning to ask Are you going to continue this story? Cause I really like to

FABULOUS story, it really is a great and unique idea, and it's totally cool that you're including a wide array of characters and storylines. You mentioned before that you'd like some constructive criticism, so I thought I would give you some feedback!

I'd like to see a little more detail for each romance subplot, it feels like they aren't quite getting enough attention for the sake of trying to get to HansxElsa. The present action bits are SO well written, but the letters feel like an uncomfortable transition, which is disappointing because of the build up that they're the turning point for Hans and Elsa's relationship. Hans character is so well done, until the letters. I totally get that Hans wants Elsa to open up, but it feels rushed and heavy handed-they haven't developed enough of a rapport for him to accost her that way. For me I'd like to see more anecdotes that would humanize Hans in Elsa's eyes. Maybe after he describes the atrocities of his daily life he shares that he fantasizes about being home and reading a favorite book. Something that establishes a connection to give Elsa a reason to want to write to him. Also, Elsa's character is a little confusing to me, I feel that you're focusing a little too much on her being distant and untouchable and not enough on showing us why Hans is so intrigued with her (other than her being beautiful).

In short, I am SO excited to see more of this story and I really hope you update soon, and also that my critique was helpful to you!

Yeshh an update! I've been waiting for it I'm so glad you're still continuing this story :)
Hans' POV is always interesting and love to see more character development for him now that he starts thinking more than himself and Elsa.
But nooo what'll happen to Hans? Will another disney character make an appearance?

Let me start off by saying, I'm not a big fan of warfare type things; but this story has really grabbed my interest. In chapter 2, with the description of Hans' story, how Elsa was his inspiration and so on. The way he talks about beauty and death, and the way he pictures himself has the Prince and her the Princess turned Queen. I'm not sure of a better way to describe it but, it was beautiful.
In short, everything about this story is really great. It is so well written, and I'm super excited to see where you go with this!

I am also surprised that this story don't have many reviews because it's really good and realistic. And you backed up with historical reference. I like seeing how the men interact through letters with the girls, and see the difference (especially contrast with Hans) between the letters written according to the characteristic and the relationship between the characters. Because I am a helsa shipper.. I see it's short of bittersweet how Hans always admiring her from the distance, and yet they only started to get to know each other just when there's a probability of death.. And it's sad to see the underlying message from Elsa's father, that he entrust Elsa in Hans' hand, knowing that if he couldn't survive, there's already mens that take care of them as Anna also already had Kristoff. I will be looking forward to the update :)!

When I read the story's introduction, I was shocked at the number of reviews. As I began to get into the first chapter, it began to make sense. This is one of those meaty, gracefully executed fictions that aren't the norm around fanfiction websites. It's something you'd find in actual novels, right next to the critically acclaimed books on the shelf, so your level of professional quality isn't easy on the digestive system for those who are use to gobbling up "easy reads." I'm personally glad to have found something that is slowly inspiring me to write, however; it's been such an emotionless, lonely hobby for me, if only because I can't fall in love with words anymore, but this pretty little thing is really putting me under a spell!

Agghhh! I love chapter 10! The letters are so good & they add another layer to the story! I'm sorry I can't help it, my heart skipped a beat when I saw the Kristoff & Anna letter at the top, I'm such a sucker for them. I love the way you wove Kristoff's world view into the realities of WWI...awesomeness right there. The development of Elsa and Hans in the previous chapters is really interesting. I'm getting more and more into their story & really wondering where it's going to lead. Please keep writing, I love this. Your concept is so cool & your writing style is really unique. Your word choices are completely different from what I'd pick, but it works really well. It's an unexpected adventure reading your work.

So far, I really really like this story, but people didn't use wedding rings until the 1930's

This is a very compelling read! I finally got around to reading it haha. I love war stories, especially AUs involving some of my favorite characters. I look forward to seeing where this will be going. :)
