This was BEAUTIFUL... I love it. I wish there was more of this merry making. xD It's especially funny when Saeldur and Voronwe were unintentionally involved. Poor Elrohir and Gimli ahhaha but I think they deserved it. :D

An enjoyable short story. I don't understand where the figs come in, however.

Oh Poor Elrohir! Caught holding a sword to Legolas's neck by the prince's guard and friend. Not the best situation for the poor Noldor! :D Imagining the Elladan's, Elrohir's and Legolas's faces when Saldur and Voronwe arrived... Priceless. I loved that one.

I have only recently found your store of stories and I must say that I am delighted that I have done so. I love your depiction of the woodland realm, the minor characters and, of course, the relationship between Thranduil and Legolas. I am not a writer (as you can tell from my name) but I do like the flow of your stories and the natural sounding conversations you manage. I am using this story to review because a) It was fun and b) I would love to see a story unfold where Thranduil hears of Elrohir's sword at Legolas' throat without, at first, knowing the reason behind it. The idea of Legolas? Saeldur? or others having to explain it all to him just makes me smile - Oh to be a fly on the wall of that conversation. All in all thank you for your stories, they are a great antidote to the unfortunate depiction of the relationship between Thranduil and Legolas in the Hobbit films.

This story is awesome. I loved Alys's reaction when Legolas walked in. I completely feel for her! And their plan was great. But the best part was Saeldur's reaction. He had a shock.

I would absolutely love to see a follow-on from this with Thranduil's reaction to Gimli's insinuations.

I just love your characterizations in your LOTR stories. I think it's safe to say you are my favorite LOTR author! My only complaint is that the story ended. :) Keep writing!
