This is pretty great, I’m invested into the story, if you want to continue to update I would be really happy! But you could also do an epilogue if you wanted. Please do Esther as this is a great story

If my kid or foster kid started speaking French at the age of three I would be over the moon and know they were a genius (if I hadn't taught them French, of course, and that would still be unlikely) and look into parenting tips for high intelligence children. What the Harrisons did is unforgivable. I loved the plane ride; very in character for Mike! And yay of course Jessica would win against Gregory.

If everything in the story is cannon up to the dinner with Jessica, does that also mean Mike has had sex before, and before he was over 18, technically making it statutory rape. If so, I look forward to that conversation and revelation with Jessica and Harvey, it will be a awkwardly hilarious chat

You should continue writing this story. Here's a idea Mike goes to group therapy where he meets someone younger girl that becomes like a little sister to him.

I totally loved this story. Could you write a chapter or two where Mike gets sick or seriously hurt in an accident or fight and his parents freak out and have to nurse him back to health? I'd like to see a lot of coddling ad pampering from Jessica and Harvey and donna.
