LOVE!

This fanfic is brilliant and definitely needs more reviews. I can really imagine the interaction between the characters while remaining true to them. I’m excited to see were it is going and will continue waiting for an update. However, the last one was quite a few years ago so it is understandable that this might not be continued.

I just recently finished reading your story so far and I enjoyed it. Despite some repetitions and grammatical errors, I like the whole refreshing plot idea, the pairing of course, and your revised 'no crossover' story. I disliked the point where Joey revealed the truth about his age to his friends and Kaiba in the old original story. I thought it was a pointless and selfish endeavor that caused more pain and confusion to his friends' and love ones's lives and make the timeline even more unpredictable. It was not necessary to tell everyone when only Yugi suspected him and accepted to hide his secret. I love this plot theme and the new twists in this revised fic. Who doesn't love time travel stories? It was quite disappointing to find out that there were not that much time travel stories to begin with here on Yu-gi-oh fanfictions. Hence, more kudos to you.

I like your characterization of Joey because he is very loyal, forgiving, kind, intelligent, and noble to the point of bordering on foolish chivalry sometimes. Even though I think he's too flirty, forceful, and too clingy sometimes, especially in his interaction with Kaiba. Well, I think that even though Kaiba was his future husband, Kaiba should be allowed to make his own decision involving his feelings and future. Despite its being a risky gamble, Kaiba seems to listen and pay more attention to Joey in this new reality. I hope they will have more interactions and more chances to talk, especially after the past being revealed to Kaiba and everyone. I understand that their relationship won't be easy, hell it might even be different from their previous 'future' relationship from another reality, but they both have respect for each other and understand each other better so it is a good start in my opinion. I also would love to hear Kaiba's thoughts about Joey and what happen so far if you're planning to do another p.o.v. besides Joey.

I am so into this fic it's unreal. I love how Joey's been messing with everyone - no matter the circumstances, that's definitely something he'd do XD and his gradually changing relationship with Kaiba is so well played. I totally believe it. Please do update with the rest because I'm dying to find out what happens now we've moved past canon. Your writing is so intensely readable and delicious - thanks for sharing!

All I can say is, I friggin' adore this story. It makes me smile while giving me intense feels knowing that characters are dead in the future...

I really love this story! I have read it at least 4 times while waiting for you to update! I really hope you update soon, I can't wait for the next chapter! I love your work! I also am really curious as to what really happened in the future time line and how Joey and Kaiba got together. Maybe you could write that version next.
