You know, at least Otome seems to care what happens to Rikuo mentally. Wakana in the original had a smile as her answer to everything. She was just yolo in the house, occupying herself with things others could easily handle better than her, breaking dishes and being all summery, her son could be planning seppuku for all she knew.

Yayy. Ive been rereading this story of yours since forever. And its still good and interesting though yura and rokuo still didnt met. Really i did not expect the hagun. I wonder what happens next. And am waiting to see the chapter where the two heirs met. Im sure it will be a party.

I'm really liking your story so far! One thing I wanted to mention though is in the last 2 or 3 chapter you have their ages and/or getting missed up. Sometimes they where 8 and it had been 3 years other times they where 10 and it had been 1 1/2 years.

When you where talking about Yura doing a summon for a swordsman and how she had to be careful what she summoned I couldn't help but think how hilarious it would be if (a) she accidentally summoned Rikuo or (b) she was startled by someone/something in the middle of the ritual and she trips into the circle and is transported into the Nura compound (in a perfect fantasy into Rikuos lap) shocking both the Onmyouji with her disappearance and the Yokia with her sudden appearance. Truly a destined encounter!

It is so unusual, and heart-wrenching, to see Kiyo afraid of Rikuo :(

And so in Kappa's flashback, we see some traces of what effect balanced Rikuo had on youkai of his clan. Some youkai may be fond of the new Rikuo, but they are probably unaware that letting it go like this is like digging a very deep grave. But for whom?

And so Ryuji helped his Imouto, which is a bit sweet. However, I wonder if the classmates will really act better towards her.

So Rikuo and Kiyo are worried about something? I wonder what it could possibly be.

"Scout the enemy territory", huh? Rikuo sure has developed a complex. But still, what are he and Kiyo worried about?

Oh, it is the rats! But aren't they attacking a bit soon? I thought it would take two more years or, more precisely, after Yura has already transfered.

BTW, how old are there characters in this chapter? The start says 11, but Kiyo acts unusually mature for that age.

Awesome new chapter. :) Loved how you included Kiyo in this as a more frequent character. His mortal pov gives a bit more perspective and is a bridge to the mortal world that Rikuo has withdrawn from (for the time being)? Always nice to know what is going on there, because when/if Yura comes to Tokyo, it's the mortal side she will be around most. Nice new chapter and I'm looking forward to more. :)
