I don't get that every single person has secrets and no one pushes or even gets mad about it. hell Rogue has secrets about Eric and his plans and they just drop it. but god forbid Clark keeps secrets many of which are not even his to tell or ones that he keeps to keep others safe.

With Clark's initial brooding, all I could think was 'like father, like son,' because Kon did the exact same thing after The Insiders. And while Israel didn't solve the underlying issue of anti-Semitism, what it DID do was give the Jewish people a relatively safe haven, and a chance to defend themselves under the law, something they couldn't do under Nazi tyranny. That is why I would always support a mutant nation: it gives them a chance to flourish and defend themselves. Wolverine and the X-Men's Genosha was a brilliant example, outside of it's hidden parts.
