This sucks, 10 chapters nothing new, why add a 4th person if he does nothing different form the book. You could make him a prankster if he knew about sirius or smthing

...I mean... his presence doesn't change anything, everything so far has been canon, like, if you add an OC as a main character then you need to hand him the stage so he can show off and be "cool" no one wants to read a story where the main character just stands there as a spectator.

You can argue that he did speak with Hermione but it didn't stop the troll from catching her in the bathroom did it? Every time he does something unique it needs to have an impact on the story.
