Where was Rei/Vector in the nightmare? Not that I want to see my favorite Zexal character tortured, but isn't he Yuma's friend too?

I just want to say, Pencilwalla, that I have read all of your stories on Tumblr and I just want to say that YOU ARE AN AMAZING WRITER! Your style of writing is so fluid and your character interactions are so realistic that my heart bounces in excitement whenever I see you post a new fanfic.

So out of this whole fanfic, I just want to say I really like what you did with Kazuma's character in this one. With all the plotholes that were never explained on how Kazuma ever knew so much about the Astral World, you did a great job of showing the other characters' doubts of him when it comes to his opinion of Ryoga. You also did an amazing job of capturing Kazuma's parental attitude of wanting the best for Yuma but not really understanding just how much Yuma has been affected by the whole Numbers' war and his PTSD (and what sounds like survivor's guilt) and how pushing away Ryoga- a person who has been, for the most part, right by Yuma's side during the course of war- is not going to solve anything.

And speaking of Yuma, I love how you portrayed his and Akari's inner thoughts of how they feel towards their parents. Kazuma's comment of wanting things to go back to the way things were really makes one realize that, in the end, he and Mirai would probably be a little distanced from their children. After all, they disappeared for five years and not only left them with just cryptic messages but also had Yuma go through a war that involved him watching his friends die with the fate of three worlds on his shoulders at only thirteen. It would only seem rational for them not to reallly understand just how hard this had been on Yuma and that he is going to have emotional and mental problems coping.

Great job, Pencilwalla. 5 out of 5.
