Very nice work. You gave such deep insights into all the characters, especially Heath. Probably deeper than the original writers ever thought. This one in the last chapter was particularly beautiful: Only one of her sons was treated with a possessiveness that denied his very identity.

I wonder if Victoria really couldn't understand that hate or if she's felt it for someone else and come out the other side?

I've always been in wonder at her and Heath's love for each other in the show. It's shown quite wonderfully here.

I love how you get heath in a calmer state of mind through "equine love" and how you describe the horse beautifully and specifically. :)

The lines about how Nick might take her purchase and Heath's way of getting around it really highlights the brothers' and apparently other family members relationships well too. :D

I don’t know why but I hate that Heath even acknowledges Pat at all. I hate that character more than Bentell. He was a child abuser in the worst way both mentally and physically yet Heath feels he owes this sick demented man a debt. Makes Heath seem like such a weak victim to me! A victim who needs mental help to get over things. He almost loves and respects Pat which makes me want to puke.
