I love cadbury's buttons... I don't usually like cadbury's chocolate but I do like the buttons for some reason. I prefer Hersheys chocolate actually but it's become really difficult to find here in the UK because of #45 and his trade war.

So if the Headmaster sent the boys trunk back to the Dursley why did he not get it back once the boy returned to school.

I find Harry quite OOC here: no one who has ever gone hungry would join a food fight or be anything but appalled at the sight of one. You mentioned his reaction to the cleaning but did not consider the food wastage.

You have woven a fantastic story, quite intriguing and fantastic. I will look to see if you have finished the sequel.

When it said “Harry was dutifully writing all of this down...” I full on awed. I just imagined him writing as much as possible with a his tongue poking out while his eyebrows are furrowed in concentration. Idk it was just so adorable to me.

Ah, dear Albus. He'll just keep on meddling, won't he? But he always means so well! And this time, too, he'll always be so certain that he is right.

*Sure* he cared for Severus. Uh huh. He maybe thought he did, but you don't cover up a murder attempt if you like the victim. But Remus is always the beneficiary, so he sure won't be the one to remind Albus about that.

Great chapter! Glad that Lily and James realized how important Snape is to Harry, and would love to find out if there's anything left of Vapormort after the three ghosts whaled away on him.

And of course Snape's cloak would be spelled to repel most awful things, it's the only reason he's lived this long in Amateur Potions Class all these years.

Actually, I think it did Draco a lot of good to be involved in a food fight, and serve detention along with the Gryffindors involved.

As for Percy, he's probably been told a zillion times that houses sit with each other during all meals, but of course this is a great opportunity to show that he's always wrong, and the twins are always right. (and people wonder why he left as soon as he could). And of course McGonagall has *never* mentioned that it's all right except during feasts, right?

Poor Harry, always able to see the good side in these detentions...(reminds of Neighbor Willie on SNL, always seeing the bright side of things).
