Wow even if you used luck and a personality chooser you've still written his masterfully, expressing the characters in ways that feel appropriate and give them depth, and I will be sincerely enraged if you don't pick up your quill and ink well and un-hiatus this, in fact I'll go full Avatar state on you until you continue this story. Even greater is that this could've been a crack fic as it has the elements of a crack fic yet is written just so perfectly that it emulates the vibe of ALTA comical yet serious, carefree but dark, happy but never afraid to be grim and foreboding.

This, this I find intriguing.

PLEASE tell me this hasn't been discontinued! I'm enjoying it altogether too much. The Boulder as The Firelord had me cracking up.

OH i love it, but i must say that here is awful amount of grammar and typing mistakes.
I laughed hard when i read started to read part about fire nation war council. The boulder as Ozai. Now that an idea, although you gave away, it who was it, too fast with his trademark quote.
"We can be bodacious" - awesome line.
Who is the blue spirit? Anyone can be blue spirit! And who is combustion man? It can't be Ozai since there was physical contact, because they would have changed. I though about Azula as blue spirit, but she can't due same reason why Ozai can't be combustion man and also because she wouldn't say like that, since she would never say that father would kill her. Also i think that Azula don't know how to use dual daos or swords.
I may not know who the Blue spirit may be but i have suspicions that Long Feng or Zhao may hide in combustion man body.
Rereading what you write there i come to conclusion that either its another of your grammar mistake or blue spirit is female.

Also, wow, so much happened in this chapter that was utterly amazing.

Sokka forming an army is a great divergence from canon, as is Sokka-style bending.

Kuei getting the be awesome was fun and so is/will be the chaos of the war going on and off plus Ozai being unaccounted for. I see there being a lot of breaking in the fire nation ranks and trouble in the Earth Kingdom.

The Boulder as Firelord was brilliant. I know they were randomly assigned, but WOW. I'm guessing Song is in Azula. Also guessing the assassin is Azula!On-jee, seeing as she's the only female character I can think of who could have been in range to be there in time AND pick up dual daos.

Wonder if Combustion Man was switched. All the switches seem to be female-female and male-, but it would be hilarious if it was Ty Lee.

Anyway, great fic, great storytelling and I look forward to every update.

This story is awesome!

On the issue of the title: the only reason I didn't read this story earlier was because I was put off by the name.

You can't really imagine a thoughtfully written tale when you think "Avatar Sokka". The name invokes images of Sokka acting like his Wang Fire persona, getting into random hijinks and sweeping the entire female cast off their feet.

Another great chapter.

Just when you think the war is over. Things take a unexpected turn. Who are these two new players, and what are their plans?

We also find out who's in Ozai's body. But who is in Azula's body?

Thanks for updating! Love your story right now, though Katara seems a bit weak in this. Though changing bodies will do that to you. xD Though the Toko is cute, still hopping fornzutara though. Just wanted to sy thank you for writing an awesome and funnynstory.
