This is way cool. Even if you never continue, it will still be taking up rent-free space in my mind.

I know this story's been dropped, but I would like to say that it seems very well developed. The only part I have issue with is your pseudonyms. On one hand, they provide a bit of mystique, but then you also start changing them around which causes some issues. Part of it I know is that I personally am bad with names, however some the names seem largely random and the proliferation of them still throws me off.
A shame though, because otherwise the AU you developed was extremely well done, despite having almost no direct exposition done. We are slowly shown characters motivation to try and solve their resident crapsack world, and at the same time just why its as dangerous as it is. I was eager to see how Om3ga and Marsh would come to trust each other, Armstrongs thoughts about the horrors he's ordered to commit, and also how the homunculi fit in given the question of Pater as man or machine looming.
So if you ever decide to start it up again, just want to say I look forward to the next steps.

So, I wasn't expecting much when I clicked this story, mainly because I'm more of a royai shipper, but I don't mind some lingfan on the side, but this story is Lan Fan-centered hence why I wasn't sure if I should read it or not (was kind of in the mood of some fluffy royai) in the end I said why not? The plot sounded intersting enough, and it did say Royai in the description. Boy am I glad I decided to read it.
I just finished the only three chapters you've uploaded and you got me hooked since the first one. I actually said out loud "Holy shit this is a fucking trasure". So for a tl;dr I loved this and I can't believe I was this close to ignoring it.

Also I read your profile and I know you don't like people pressing you for faster updates, so I won't because I'm a patient person ( after all I've been following my favorite Royai fic for roughly 7 years now, and it's still on-going!) so no matter how much time it takes you, I'll be eagerly waiting for your updates :)

That out of the way: I love this story! It's incredibly well-written and the characterization is amazing! I think LingFan shippers, or people who like to see Ling and Lan Fan more in general, are really lucky to have a writer such as you here.

You, my friend, have The Talent. Not surprising, considering the hints we've gotten of your education and profession, but it makes me all the more grateful that you share in our fandoms and write such amazing fics for all of us to enjoy. Your thoroughness in world-building, research, and outlining an intriguing plot is making me pretty green with envy over here (obvious FMA joke is obvious). Your snarky style of humor is just the icing on the cake of it all.

I also must express my deepest gratitude that such a great writer is also a contributor to the much-too-small Ling/Lan Fan ship, whether it's platonic or romantic. I love it all so much, you've gotten me to read an AU story and absolutely love it. By the way, nothing against AUs, I'm just never usually able to get into them properly. Consider it another compliment on your writing ability, that you keep the cores of the characters true enough that it still feels like I'm reading about them rather than OCs with the same names. Lan Fan especially impresses me. She's a badass and I love her, but she doesn't get all that much screentime in canon. However, you've managed to keep what was established about her in canon very present while embellishing on her in wonderful ways depending on the story, and I adore her all the more for it.

And lastly, SATANICMILK. Five stars, that is all.

I hope to see more of either Om3ga or SotB sometime soon, but by all means take your time. Genius cannot be rushed after all, and I'm of the opinion that stories like this are well worth the wait. Until your next update :)

This Au is really interesting! Loving your Ling/Lan Fan writing!

Great story as far as one can tell with the first three chapters. I like the setting and the atmosphere you put into the scenes. Lan and Ling come across nicely and I sincerely hope that Ed shows up soon. Even tho he's only be mentioned so far (and has written a bit) he's still portraied great.
I think its great how you build the background for the characters but how you don't just rip their origins (manga) away from them but still try to keep them who they're supposed to be.

Great story you have here! I love the incorporation of LanFan having her arm being burned instead of it being amputated like the anime, and Ling's shirt in chapter 2. Hooray for modern/sci-fi AUs!
