is there a sequel? like... I love this story! It is amazing! I haven't seen many Pike/Oc stories and this was amazing, but I honestly would like to see this continued where she ends up with Jim and Jim ends up being baby Chris' father figure. I genuinely think pike would've been happy with that (: and I think that Jim would make Sadara happy like Chris would've.

also... would it be possible to do a prime reality story where we see Jim and Sadara together originally instead of pike? that would be fricking cool! like imagine learning all about Jim and Sadara's history together and then having both couples meet each other or learn of the other reality's life. Also, I think it would make this story hit the feels more to learn about both sides of how their lives could've turned out, yeah know?

Well you put TOS Sadara and TOS Kirk together, why not pair the alternate universe versions? I suspect Bones or Spock will tell Kirk his feelings are misplaced or something. However players like Kirk when they fall in love, they fall hard.

I just read the ending. It appears that Kirk is going to be a big part of this kid's life. But I think so is Spock. While I like Sadara, she is too me quite selfish. If my species were dying (or her Vulcan half was endangered to the point of there being a shortage of females), I would marry a full Vulcan (or at least go for Spock) over a full Human.
One can also make the point that Spock is being selfish by staying with Uhura after the near destruction of his species. They are not married here right? While I can understand Spock's concern that Kirk will be a bigger influence over the 25% part Vulcan kid, the truth is Spock is STILL DATING a female HUMAN.
Surely Spock could marry a Vulcan female and still serve in Starfleet? I understand that having Spock aboard the Federation flagship shows a Vulcan presence. But I think Spock IS being a hypocrite.
And I am annoyed that Kirk asked Sadara to give her baby a Human first name as opposed to a Vulcan first name.
Any chance for a sequel? Or one that shows the kid eventually favoring Vulcan philosophies?
I applaude you for being original and showing Spock as a hypocrite. It is not in his nature-but kudos for being original with him. Please respond as you are able. I know life can get hectic. This weekend?
