Wait wtf how is Misaki alive?

Looks like I came across this long after it was canceled. I still needed to say that you did a rather awesome job at the start.

I enjoyed the first couple of chapters where it was just Ichigo and Shigure. When they separated, it was rather cute.

I didn't so much mind him getting tossed in front of their dojo and all that. I really just don't see him actually staying even if he wanted to.

I didn't really see this as remotely an actiony fic. This was a romance of superpowered badasses. Shigure was awesome Master badass to start with. That Ichigo was even in her league, much less the other masters was totally stunning.

They were more awed that someone of that power existed, but for some reason was afraid that he was a spy. WTH? Even if he was a spy, they should be able to read his intentions/ki aura and just generally know what sort of type he is.

I didn't so much mind Ichigo moving closer to her, but it felt too soon. O.k. both of them liked each other and really had feelings. Maybe even started to love each other. That's not qute enough to say screw it and just get up and move.

Ichigo had some rather good reasons of why he should wait...

I think that you copped out a tad to easy when you had everyone on Ichigo's side come out and push him in that direction.

The conflict in this didn't so much need to be the yomi side or even the various bleach background supernatural. It could have just been long distance rom com stuff and them trying to get to know each other without everyone else butting in.

A few minor suggestions if you ever think of going back through this. You had him give her a supernatural sword, but it was never used except for a brief comic effect. You could had had her need to use that weapon against some sort of supernatural critter.

Ichigo would have been informed, but he couldn't just drop everything and run off to save her. He'd have had to wait for her to come back to him, which she would.

Something that you forgot or never really brought up. the supernatural ki stuff of bleach sort of unlocks others if they are around it for too long and have the potential.

Shigure was going around to collect her dad's super awesome weapons. In a Bleach cross, he could have been making Quincy or Fullbringer weapons. Shigure might not have had a clue about the supernatural aspects to the weapons that she was collecting. She was just collecting them as they were her dad's, and she didn't want them being used by bad folks.

The point is that she could have been nearly mugged by the supernatural side of things and needed some backup or training from Ichigo. Sure, he could roll right over what ever the threat was, but that's not the issue. It's he would need to stay around his home town, and she needs training up before she can leave the area without being hunted.

O.k. That would give them an excuse to stay together and do some background training/grinding.

A few things that the fic was missing. We never had a proper Ichigo vs Shigure spar. The chases don't count. At some point, they needed to actually bring those swords out just to test things.

Ichigo wouldn't really need it as he could tell right off that he was better than her. It's Shigure that really needed to spar with him though. She liked him, but there is still a part of her that is a weapons master and could learn far more about him after 5 minutes of sparing than that month of flirting.

Another thing that you never brought up. Ichigo talking to his swords and Shigure really wanting to learn that. Instead of thinking that he is nuts, she might want to learn how to listen to her swords.

I actually didn't really care about Shigure's various human enemies. We knew too much about Ichigo and his family being in an entirely different league. Even if they went after his sisters, they'd get curbstomped by the sisters, and then they'd have started an entire unexpected war.

At best, they'd have been comic annoyances. You could have thrown in one of the yomi bombshells to come up and flirt with him to attempt to steal him to their side.

One bit that started off cute, but you over used, was everyone threatening each other. In retrospect, it might have been better if Ichigo's family and the dojo masters didn't directly threaten each other. The masters were briefed on just how strong he is.

It would have been a surprise to find out just how strong the other members of his family were.

The fun part of things would have been when Ichigo and Shigure have their various dates interrupted.

You brought up some good points that she'd love no matter what and all that. That was fine if they were really in love with each other and all that. Well, that's where I'd have rather them have had their entire relationship without everyone else butting in. More of if it was say 6 months of them long distance dating or running into each other or just training or something.

After that period, you could have something pop up where one of them needs to be else where for a few months... Like have to run off to the US or something and instead of it taking the normal few weeks, it just taking longer for the various leg work or just what ever they need to do. With Ichigo, there could be any sort of various supernatural issues that he could be called in for.

The point is that after 6 months of having a some one set distant relationship, they go through 3 months of not really being able to see each other for plot reasons. That would have been sort of the event that made them grumpy enough so everyone around them would like to fix things.

Actuallyl, it would be nice if during that 6 months of long distant dating, that folks notice, but are mainly taking note and just seeing how happy that they are and helping Ichigo keep it from his dad and all that.

You went a tad overboard with everyone popping in and teasing them and/or threatening her.

It felt off on the timing as they hadn't really dated or all that. They were just around each other for a month and made each other happy. That was far too soon for everyone to push them together.

O.k. maybe its a Japanese thing, and they really want 'em married before they hit mid-20s.

Instead of everyone threatening her, they should have been thrilled to death that anyone was able to actually make him happy.

It would have been fun if they were getting together and only the dojo masters knew that Ichigo was strong, but had no clue about just how strong or that any of his friends/family were also of the same level.

Come on could you just see the wedding party or the yomi folks trying to interrupt things when a massive amount of folks on Ichigo's side happened to be tons of various supernatural heavy hitters.

I'd have just loved a scene where Kenichi mutters to that alien kid that Shigure is marrying into a family much scarier than the dojo masters.

Could you at least put it up for adoption?

I don't get it... so is Ichigo weakened now? Isn't Zangetsu a part of his soul? How will he be able to go into Bankai with only half a blade?

i think it should be put up for adoption because it's good start but should be in the timeframe of shigure's capture and be flashbacks
