a touching story which portrayed the two of them very well. I think you're right in saying that Penny is probably the only person he could have that conversation with. You really well showed the logical Sheldon struggling and the "street smart" Penny having to try and help. Also liked the ending, very Sheldon.

This was just lovely. Penny and Sheldon talking about the most difficult subject of all. And she gave great advice. Poor Sheldon. Of course he would feel this way after having sex with Amy. It was pleasurable, but meaningless. And for him to go to Penny was so endearing. And he even "got" that love makes it better. I like to fill in my own blanks to this story, so it's great as a one shot. Thanks so much for sharing!

This was a very sweet story about the friendship Penny and Sheldon share. I think this could really happen.I don't know if Sheldon would regret sleeping with her but I think it would be awkward for them both.
