It seems like such a cruel irony. Athos was the man that made him want to be a part of the brotherhood of the Musketeers, and then he was the one that broke him. |

I feel so, so much for D'Artagnan right now and I cruelly happy that the others are feeling such shame and guilt about themselves, maybe that'll teach them! Great, great chapter! :) |
| ThomE.Gemcity-06 chapter 7 . 4/21/2015 Sorry, that previous review was meant for chapter 4; I don't know what happened. This is for chapter 6... Oh, I finally think I can see what the Queen is up to now... D'Artagnan is heading for the garrison with the Cardinal's letter about hiring an assassin, and the Cardinal has scent the Red Guard to arrest him, and with her and the King in disguise to witness it, there will be now way for the Cardinal to get out of it this time. If I'm right, completely brilliant. And the Musketeers would release what a big mistake they had made and come to D'Artagnan's defense and such and he'll be a Musketeer again! :) And this is the review for chapter 7 - really sorry about all this! Well... that sort of worked out as I had predicted. Happy that the Cardinal get to be put to death, but D'Artagnan is still no better off it seems... I really would have thought that Aramis would be the one to have seen reason first as well, that's why my own disappointment accompanies the Queens. |
