Hello! I just wanted you to know just how much I appreciate this story, and how you've done it from mostly Hank's view. The way you bring us along as the school becomes again, as students simply trickle in one by one, afraid and insecure and so desperately in need of a home, and as you add in the other students and people with their thoughts and opinions here and there is so seamless and so right... it makes me , Hank's dry and oh-so-wonderful humor and internal monologue makes it that much better! Go Beast! One thing I would offer praise for is chapter 9. You accurately captured the essence of the kind of pain a partially severed spinal cord can bring, and how it can indeed last for days on end. As a complete paralytic myself, due to a spinal injury, I can relate to Charles's pain intimately. I may just print that section of the chapter for the next time I'm asked if "being paralysed hurts".You did well, and I appreciate how you chose to write this. Good job. I do tend to have a bit of a soft spot for Xavier, and have mercy on him for choosing to take the serum for so long. It didn't just allow him to walk, it didn't just shut the world out of his mind, but it took away the school excruciating pain that made his daily routine a living hell. Though the way he abused it, and chose to wallow in his guilt and self-pity; that is where my pity just about ends. Dunno what I'd do in his specific situation, but I'm not impressed with how this "once and future" great man handled this throw of dice. Anywhoo, that's my three cents for now. I'll leave you to your peace, and shall look forward to more stories from you!

I really am glad that they are going to wait. I understand that it is pretty uncommon in this day and age, but I think that, that little thing just makes marriage more exciting.

I finally get a day to review! Yay!

This story was the perfect mix of fluffy and sensible. You showed us how Hope and Hank's relationship blossomed without excluding the other characters. Every mutant at the manor got their screen time. Each character played a part, and in chapters where Hank and Hope weren't the main focus it made sense why one or two updates later.

Overall this was an original masterpiece. You fleshed out minor characters who barely received screen time in Days of Future Past and gave them a personality. Made them a fixture. Made them MATTER to the story.

That's paramount in the X-Men universe.

Bravo :). I enjoyed reading this.

Omgggg I love Charles and Ink practicing Ink's powers and hearing all the shenanigans around the house. Everyone's being idiots.

And then, of course, Peter asking again if Hope is knocked up.

That commando stuff was really, really interesting, though I'm glad Hank didn't join. I mean, it'd be dumb to join anyway, but still glad he did the obvious and refused to join.

Also, YAY THE SCHOOL IS BACK! :)

Oh wow this was such a good ending! A little abrupt I thought, but that's not always a bad thing, you know? Leaves it open to possible sequels (hint hint) :) I'm sad its over but it was a really amazing fanfic!

Yet again another fantastic story! I'm really sorry I've stayed a silent reader over the last two stories, I just never really had words to stay apart from wow!
It's been fantastic reading this trilogy, especially, like I said before in the first part of the trilogy, as it's mainly from Hanks point of view which is amazing as it feels like we finally get to see more of the man behind the blue fur and orange eyes!
I have to admit I was a little unsure of the budding romance between Hank and Hope at first but as the second story progressed I was loving Hope more and more, (but never as much as Hank!) and this story really affirmed my love of the character.
What I've particularly loved about this story is your portrayal of each of the characters, their ever growing characterisation and the way you've researched (or knew) all the canon characters to give them a true representation whilst being wise in the alterations you made.
So thank you I guess for creating such a fantastic story! I really hope that sometime in the future you do a sequel, one set a few years in the future perhaps, with the school reopened, Hope maybe been pregnant, Chloe and Ink engaged/married and the school bustling with so many kids that they don't know what to do with them.
Another thing I think would be really interesting to explore is when Hank becomes immune to the serum he takes or even decides to stop taking it after finally accepting who he is.
I dunno though, these characters are yours and I hope one day you're able to revisit them, I know for sure I'll be there eager to read their next chapter.

i loved the homecoming hank and hope got. so awkward, but fun and happy. interesting plot point with the scary black suit guys, but i'm glad hank made the right decision. you've got the girl now, buddy. no need to chase her away. hold on tight and don't let go!

This was a very fun chapter; I liked Hope punching people, and you did a great job getting through that whole section without once coming out and telling who was saying what. It was just all in character enough that we could hear their voices and recognize them :)

Nightstalkers? I know very little about X-Men canon so I've no clue if they're in there or not, but it does sound ominous. On the other hand, they had *great* timing, so that Charles could read their minds and Hank had a chance to think it over before making a decision.

And yay, you used the word "affect"! In it's least-popular meaning. I was actually just commenting on that somewhere, the other day... So, go you! She kept her affect flat to avoid having an effect, because she didn't want to affect his decision. So many people get confused about those. *word-nerding Might be because there's a whole group of words that change from a noun to a verb depending on how you pronounce it. And native speakers just know that without ever thinking about it. /word-nerding

Anyway... I enjoyed this chapter, I enjoyed the whole story, and thanks very much for giving Hank at least a temporary happy ending :) I can go on to pretend that nothing bad ever happens to them. At least until the next X-Men movie comes out... Thanks for writing, and thanks for sharing.

I feel so happy but so sad at the same time. I'm so happy for Hank and Hope and the others but so sad to say goodbye. Though every good things must come to an end (I feel like I said that wrong...) and this fic was awesome (and so were the two before it)! Love the warm feeling I felt every time I read a new chapter and your theme of 'reaching out'. I just hope that we don't have to wait until X-Men Apocolyse for a new fic. I know you won't let us down (because you never do!) ;)

Nice ending to the story! I like how there's an opening for possibly an new one :) but glad that everything is well, for now, for all the characters and the school is going to open again. They can use a bit of peace and quiet... not that that ever really happens at a filled school :)
