This is so lovely! Where did you get the idea for the second mutation from? It's absolute genius! I like the idea that Erik leaves Charles because he's insecure, especially since it seems very likely, due to him having had no true relationships (friendly or otherwise) for most of his life. I especially like sympathetic Azazel - nice touch. What will the brotherhood do, now that their leader is gone? Will Frost take over? Will A & J even want her to take over?
