Batlash, a boggan with the spider mask. Or is he a boggan?

From what I've read, Batlash is not old, more of an adult in there 20's. His voice is young, and doesn't sound like a greedy boggan. My theory is probably he is…

Batlash is probably a jinn that got probably got possessed.
Maybe he is wearing that mask to hide his true face.

YAY it's a new year and then some actually. I reread rose King and love it as much as before. As one of your avid readers I was wondering if an update is on the way. No pressure on perfection if you're working on it however I do want to nudge you to begin working again if work has ceased the past few months. Thanks for a great story thus far tho
