I kind of skimmed over this.

My initial complaint is how you wrote that Speed doesn't place a lot of importance on Trixie., and I disagree with that. I've watched the entire anime series from start to finish. I'm a big SR fan. I made it a point to get the whole series, and you've left out a few instances where her jealousy caused her to storm off and him follow after her, *apologizing* and *begging* her to come back. You left out the one instance where he could have died from hypothermia and another girl saved his life. In a fit of jealous rage, Trixie pushed Lilly Marker away from Speed and said, "Get away from him". So this notion that Trixie is a victim of neglect on Speed's part doesn't sit well with me. Allowing another woman to bully her doesn't sit well with me, either. Trixie has stood up to some very nefarious people. A woman like Claudia would be on the receiving end of some very scathing remarks from Trixie.

Because part of the appeal of Trixie, for the way she was written, is that she's a strong, independent type. She's the opposite of Mom Racer. That was done by design.

Overall, the writing is solid. Characterization to me is iffy, but you had something specific in mind when you wrote it so that's a plus. Kudos on this story!

Cute story. I had a crazy dream where Trixie ran to Rex's arms after she got tired of Speed ignoring her. The dream prompted me to look for Speed Racer fics and I was happy to find yours! It's well written and fun. :)

I love this story!
There are very few Speed Racer fanfictions, even less are about Speed and Trixie's relationship, and hardly any are quality! This story is great and very well written!
