I've never before read a story that successfully went from such lighthearted fluff to COMPLETELY BADASS so fast. Like goddamn everything after that flare was nail bitingly intense! This is such an awesome story and I hope you come back and finish it someday. I certainly had a lot of fun reading it and I look forward to more even if it does take a million years.

Alright, you know it's a good story when you can SEE the improvement from chapter to chapter. Don't get me wrong, your first chapter was great and I really enjoyed reading it, but this fourth chapter knocks it out of the park in terms of skill. It was emotional, funny, tense, and suspenseful. All the things you look for in a great fanfiction and, even a great story. The first part was fantastic, showing a side to Nora that isn't often explored. She ISN'T bubbly all the time, she ISN'T just full of perky laughs and weirdness. She's real, she's emotional, and she knows when something serious has happened. The scene where she was screaming at Ren to talk to her was an amazing scene, one that really made you feel the tragedy inside her. It's easy to see the love she has for Ren.

Not that the other part wasn't bad, either. The moments of the mission were tense and humorous. I especially liked the little argument between Ren and his team about his masculinity. That was very funny and welcome to read after the beginning. I also very much enjoyed the way you wrote the nest of the Death Stalkers. It gave me a very "Aliens" feeling, with the babies encased in goo and nasty things on the wall before dropping to attack. That's certainly a very creepy way to describe them and would definitely be a cause for panic.
All in all, this is a wonderful story. And, one of a pairing I adore, but don't see as much love go to as it deserves. Your characters are interesting, your writing is clever, and I genuinely can't wait to see what you have in store for next time. A truly enjoyable emotional ride you've taken us on. Excellent work!

SHIT. This started out as a cute fluffy collection of one-shots and escalated into this heart-wretching action piece that's putting me on the edge of my seat. Not a complaint, at all... just surprised and very concerned for my favorite character's well being (and the well being of his bestest friend). I am, however, relieved to know that you will continue with the one-shot format, its nice to have oneshot collections that vary up plots and such.

Jaune, you freaking dolt. I swear...anyways... On a brighter note, this series is SOOO good! I love the humor and how you describe the relationship between Ren and Nora. Hopefully life doesn't get you down, though, and can't wait for the next chapter!
