Actually, it isn't that far off the mark within the Tarzan universe for him to have encountered hyenas and lions. In the spinoff series he fought hyenas at least once, and in the original novels there were lions living in the same jungle as the apes.

The opening description was very sweet.
I always picture Tarzan sleeping on Kerchak if they were close. I imagine what a comfortable bed he must be.

I know its been awhile since you updated it but I love this story! I always wanted Kerchak and Tarzan to have a close bond. I always thought Kerchak would be a great father but unfortunately we didn't get to see much of his fatherly self throughout the film. He lost his biological child and then he died by the time he finally accepted Tarzan. This fanfic is too good to not be finished

I hate that Kala died but I think I like this version a lot more than the original so far.

I love this story! I love the relationship between Kerchak and Tarzan. Poor Kala, at least her son is in good hands. I can't wait to read more!
