This was a good story, probably in the top 5 ANBU!Naruto stories I’ve read. I liked the ending.

this was a great read, though there ARE loose ends imo. would love to know if there will be more, seeing as this still isnt at shippuden time, even with the main enemies of that being dead.

I love the sort of mentally unhinged/dark Naruto you manage to create! It’s just so believable and real, it’s really refreshing from the standard “cheery” Naruto.

Three time. Three blasted read throughs, (enjoyable though but the point remains,) it took me to catch that the saru squad was from that other manga with a certain disciple, (Not naming so that other readers can puzzle it out.) Still, a good story to read, love how short and sweet the fight with what's his name was cause his one over relied upon gimmick was rendered moot.

ANBU is really little different from just giving him to Danzo, both are pretty stupid, if they want to make him care about Konoha.
Why is there no mention of Jiraiya? Feels like quite a plot hole. He's after all a sealmaster, and is the one best suited to handling a Jinchuuriko. He could start the apprenticeship early, taking Naruto away so that the populace could cool down.
Not to mention possible sending him to a Yamanake counselor, though that's a bit more fanon an idea.
