Retired Kitkat chapter 30 . 1/21/2017 Hello dear, I think I might have missed the last chapter because I didn't stop by to tell you I loved Momo's interaction with all Rikkaidai's players. By the way, I'm Axya logged in so I should thank you not only for sharing these great stories, but for my acknowledgment in the very end of this chapter. Thanks so much for allowing us to know your talent. Hugs, Kitkat / Axya |
ryidaniel1 chapter 1 . 7/8/2016 So I just finish reading chapter 9 World in Us where Momo is targeted by some creep and now he collide with Truck-Kun !? I love this chapter ! Thank you for your work ! |
Weis chapter 1 . 10/10/2015 This is the best PoT story, ever! It's nice, funny, clever, amazing and respectful to our dear boys. It emphasizes their strong sides and gently laughs at their antics. It's about bonds, friendship and care - the most amazing things that can be experienced in youth and then brought on through life. Most of all, I'm grateful to the author for taking good care of Momo. He is great character, often underestimated, overlooked and simplified. Here he shines. He is a hero, just as he should be, and it's obvious. I say - you take better care of Momo than PoT' canon author does. Thank you for this! |
Wynter Spite chapter 30 . 10/3/2015 You're brilliant. I mean it. You're amazing. I love your humor and the way you express your characters and how you write, how the story's laid out so beautifully, I just love it all. You leave me not only speechless, but also smiling. There is no story better than one that can make you smile. |
Quillandwand chapter 30 . 1/14/2015 Oh my, I'm so glad I found this story, because I was giving up hope that there were nice Prince of Tennis fanfics out there ; n ; This is really, really lovely. You have such a nice writing style, and I love how well you portrayed all these different characters - that's never easy, especially when it comes to the side characters from other schools! To be honest, after the first chapter I thought that the rest of the stories couldn't possibly be as good as, because that one totally sucked me in, but they were all so good. I'm also a bit jealous that you can write a fanfic for an anime so well xD Most people, me included, can't seem to get the mix between writing in English and not making it seem like a caricature of Japan right, but you managed to do that well, in my opinion. I just immensely enjoyed this I think the fact that I stayed up reading until the wee hours even though I had to get up fairly early proves that 3" Thanks so much for writing this! |
mamita chapter 30 . 11/1/2014 Hello, I loved your fic, especially since Momo is my favorite, is the best, and although we all underestimate and ignore it, but then they know you and are surprised is that they are fools, the only thing he did not like it is An Tachibana, the couple AnxMomo has never stuck, they're just acquaintances or friends, nothing more, and it shows, besides An make much better friends with Kamio you notice that if you like An, Momo is more the Boys, lol, it's not for nothing but yaoi on this anime I love, especially if it is with Momo, lol, and Momo is not usually flirt with girls, is funnier, but still I loved the fic, I hope you do most of the fics, I love, so still, thanks and kisses. |
Neon Genesis chapter 30 . 8/14/2014 Okay but yeah, hi, I kind of adore you? You describe things remarkably well, your story flows smoothly, and you have a pretty good grasp of the characters. You balance dialogue, action, and introspection very well, and I just - Am very happy I found this. (: |
AspergianStoryteller chapter 30 . 8/11/2014 Nice. |
AspergianStoryteller chapter 29 . 8/11/2014 Very nice. Sweet and funny. |
Axya chapter 29 . 8/9/2014 I say Thank You for writing these stories and sharing them with us. Now I'm a bit sad cause it's coming to an end, but all good things must end sometime. It was a very pleasant experience while it lasted. Makes me want to look for my cds with the series and watch it all over again. I'll make sure to favourite this in my account... once I find the password to it. Hugs, Axya |
Guest chapter 29 . 8/9/2014 Wow! It's already the second last chapter and I haven't reviewed in such a long time... I like that this is one of the more lighthearted stories that's not so dark and dangerous for a change. Language barriers don't really hinder people's relationships, instead they can actually help them. (I once read an article about a Japanese woman and her British husband being able to understand each other perfectly.) I've only seen a few episodes with Billy, so not sure if I can judge his personality accurately. He is a lot like Momo. Some how, all power players seem to share some sort of bond with each other, even when they're on opposite sides of the court. It really is interesting. - flying kingfisher |
Rosenmaedchen chapter 29 . 8/9/2014 so sweet and funny |
Descending Rainfall chapter 28 . 8/8/2014 Not going to lie, I tried following NPoT but then stopped because it all became a little too much for me to handle. I mean, basically all of the special moves are unrealistic, but things got a little too crazy for me to handle in NPoT (Angel modes, golden gauntlets, rainbow serves, hitting ten balls at once, FUCKING LASER BEAMS AND DODGING THEM BY DOING INA BAUERS (?!), shit like that). Still, I did agree with several of the points made and the character growths, especially those of Kaidoh and Momoshiro and a little bit of Ryoma too. I loved how Sanada stepped up and really took the lead of the Losers, it really was a great way to come back from losing to Yukimura (I still can't like him. I just can't). Though in the manga, did they say that the Momo VS Oni match was planned? I can't remember. Pretty sure they did, though. I agreed with you when you said that technology and statistics can only go so far. Data tennis has always seemed like an unreliable/kind of dumb play style to me, and those Jyosei people are just weirdos (don't even get me started on the creep that is Hanamura). You can train and train and do whatever you're told for as long as you want, but unless you actually put your heart into it and actually think you won't get far. Momoshiro obviously does not have Ryoma or Tezuka's prodigal talents, but he works and thinks and feels tennis in a way that proves to be better than, say, Fuji's almost careless ways. This was so inspirational, especially the last line. I know personally how hard it is to get back up after a major setback, whether it be physical or mental, and man, nothing can knock down that Momoshiro for long. Even though he knew he wouldn't win against Sengoku in the tiebreak elimination, he still refused to quit until told, and then he tried his best to get up the mountain with pretty much useless wrists. Way to go Kaidoh for swallowing your pride and carrying him up, I always knew you two were actually friends. Couch Nyudo is another one of those aspects of NPoT that I found absolutely ridiculous. Technically speaking, aren't his coaching ways bordering on forms of child abuse? And the fucking eagles. The fucking eagles, where the hell did they come from? Though I do agree with him that the coaches at the camp are messed up in their way too, and I loved how he said it was the start of a revolution. And, well, he did really help out the losers, so props to him. It's a little shameful admitting this, but backtracking all the way to the second episode of the series, before I'd read the manga, I'd thought Momoshiro was going to be some crazy idiot that was just an older version of Horio. And well, he's a little crazy (but so is everyone in the PoT universe, so that hardly means a thing), but he's the farthest thing from an idiot or a Horio (that kid gets a category all on his own). So when Nyudo kept mentioning how he looked stupid but isn't...well, that brought back some memories for me. :P Not that it's a bad thing or anything, I just thought it was funny how I used to think of Momo compared to how I think of him now. -Cara P.S. Kirihara's Devil Mode I thought was cool, Angel Mode...not so much. P.P.S. What the absolute fuck is this kid Shiraishi how the hell does a fucking fifteen teen year old boy wear a fucking gauntlet made of pure fucking gold on his arm for three fucking years in a row?! Wouldn't that have like, knocked his body off balance for so long, and seriously, wouldn't it have made his forearm considerably bigger so how did the bandaged area look the exact same as the top half? I actually really like Shiraishi, but what the fuck was it with a golden gauntlet? (Sorry for all the swears) P.P.P.S. Tokugawa, it's been decided you're either a rainbow double teaming fairy or a magician. P.P.P.P.S. I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT'S THE POINT OF INA BAUER?! Heehee, that was a bit of me expressing my confusion about NPoT. For the most part, the sections I read were actually kinda fun, but hella confusing. -Cara ( |
Descending Rainfall chapter 26 . 8/7/2014 Seriously, you're amazing for just putting Tachibana in, more so for writing such an emotional scene. Tachibana Kippei is, without a doubt, my favorite character in the entire series. He's a proud, strong, and responsible leader who's made mistakes in the past and learns from them. So when you addressed the part of his past where he helped Kamio, Ibu, Uchimura, Mori, Ishida, and Sakurai by fighting against the teacher, I was so happy. But then I was also really upset because of what Momoshiro was going through, but still. It was still a great story. That Adachi though...what an absolute bastard. It's never alright for a coach-for anyone, period-to abuse someone like that. And why Momo of all people, when all he's done is be energetic and positive and hardworking? I mean, I can see why nobody would want to attack Kaidoh, but why the hell attack anyone in the first place? Jesus, people like that annoy the hell out of me. On a happier note, was the pair of nervous sophomores Katsuo ad Kachirou by any chance? Because if they were, I'M SO PROUD OF THE LITTLE ICHINEN CUTIES! And it also leads me to wonder if Horio happened to make it too, haha. :) -Cara |
cityangelz chapter 26 . 8/7/2014 You! *shakes fist at swiss* I am regretting reading this at work and you're making me feel like a total crybaby. how do you do this two stories in a row? I could feel the tear trickling down I tell you and I WAS AT WORK. So hope you are happy about making me feel so much about all these fictional animated characters argh! Hahaha that aside. Beautiful piece of writing and I love the Tachibana perspective. Tachibana and Fudoumine does make the most sense for this story and not just because of their history but because of the relationship that exists between the two schools. They are rivals yes, but Momo especially gets along well with Kamio and Shinji's (who I totally love) interactions with Ryoma are just hilarious. Man that grip tape. Haha. Tachibana-san is just all round awesome. Thus, I believe these two schools would be the first to stand in defense of each other. Momo's actions and Kaidoh's reactions were utterly heartbreaking (hence the tears) but just the reassuring presence of Tachibana made it feel like things will be resolved because this is a guy who will fight for the people who deserves it and it doesn't matter that it's a rival involved. Ok that's it for the emotions. Please give me a funny chapter next my heart cannot take all this emotions! lol. Preferably one where Momo and An is out on a date and Kamio's all "An-channnnn!" Hahahaha |
