Oh my word! What a beautiful, heart-breaking chapter! I don’t usually cry when I read, but the end of this chapter got me choked up.

I normally don’t leave reviews in the middle of a story, but this story is completely blowing me away! It is so well-written, so intriguing, so entertaining, and the subtle-yet-effective references to other beloved stories, such as Narnia, are pure genius. I LOVE the nod to the masquerade scene from “The Phantom of the Opera” in this chapter. You are incredibly gifted!

I know this is an older fic and you might not pay much attention to comments on it at this point, but I just had to say that, despite being only a couple of chapters in, this is so deliciously well-plotted and it's evident how much thought you have put into the world already. I started it because I was in the mood for some Captain Swan fic, but this is a legitimately good story period; I love Will. I can't wait to see the promised political intrigue unfold.

I've spent the last few weeks reading this epic, and I've laughed and cried and swooned. You've captured the essence of these characters so well. I was especially touched by Killian and Will's friendship, and heartbroken when Emma and Killian were separated. Well done.

Wow. Just wow. I started reading CS fanfiction right after the season 5 mid-season break; I couldn't stand being away from Captain Swan until March and that's when I found this new addiction of mine. But I have to say out of all the stories I've read to date this one impressed me the most. The reason being it read like a novel and not solely focused on CS, even though I love them dearly. And your language was so colorful, reminiscent to me of Anne Rice and Robert Ludlum. I have to say I bawled when Killian saw Liam and through the last 3 chapters, they were written so beautifully. I look forward to reading your other stories.
