Malta-chan765 chapter 6 . 8/5/2014 This is amazing! I absolutely loved the ending and was so happy to see that Russia was alive! In the end everyone had something to live for. You are a talented writer and I hope to see more from you in the future. Thank you for writing this. |
Resucitated-Blue chapter 6 . 8/3/2014 This is a nice and sweet resolution. It leaves the same satisfied feeling I've had with all these chapters, little triumphs everyday from surviving again, a few more problems to fight through. The triumph is bigger here so it feels like a suited end. I can't remember why I decided to read this story. I've never really been drawn to read about any of these nations...but, I'm glad I gave it a chance. It was really enjoyable reading and I've come to like this odd group. I think I've mentioned it before, but somehow with the way it's written...it's easy to picture things and it flows through. It didn't rush itself at all but never feels too slow. Also, aptly named chapter titles (I definitely learned some new words). Possible Criticism? (I feel like I should mention something constructive but please don't take offense to it.) For an apocalyptic world, it lacks a great amount of tension/drive(with how I'm reading it). Around chapter 4 it picked up a little with Asa but again not too much. Maybe it's because, again, I lacked initial interest in this cast so it took a while to get invested. Still, I re-read a bit from the beginning to check...and overtime dramatic events or thoughts held less weight as it went on. It became just another day surviving. Nevertheless, it was a well-written journey that I did like following. Overall great story :) |
NothingIcanSay chapter 6 . 8/3/2014 Been a silent reader and I really liked how it went-short but sweet, but informative enough to paint the proper scenes. Definitely adding this to my favorites :3 |
The secret trio chapter 6 . 8/3/2014 I love the ending and thank you for answering my question about Norway |
The secret trio chapter 5 . 7/30/2014 I was wondering if Norway survived because we found out about all the other Nordics but we didn't find out about him but also great chapter and I can't wait for the next one |
Malta-chan765 chapter 5 . 7/27/2014 What? One more chapter? Just one more?! Good work with chapter five, though. |
Resucitated-Blue chapter 5 . 7/27/2014 Aw, he did die, but nice to see that 'hope' still lives on. Throughout the chapter there are flickers of hope. It was interesting how you said the child was chasing sparrows in her dream at the beginning. I'm probably reading too much into the line, but was that a reference to him simply chasing away the pests (infected) or was that itself an allusion to death? Sorry, it was just one of the lines that stuck out for me. Anyways, it's nice to see turkey join the group. You really well-paced the group's formation. Also, I quite like how Katya's determination shone through here. It was nice to see her like that. Overall, great chapter. I look forward to the end. |
Resucitated-Blue chapter 4 . 7/21/2014 Oh, now it's really picked up in tension. I'm really hoping the boy survives protecting her, though I highly doubt it. Again, good chapter. |
Malta-chan765 chapter 4 . 7/21/2014 This is so amazing! |
Malta-chan765 chapter 3 . 7/12/2014 Amazing! I spazzed a lot! I was so sad about Switzerland and Liechtenstein! I do have one question: in the first chapter when England was mentioned, was he dead? |
Resucitated-Blue chapter 3 . 7/12/2014 This continues to be a really good read. You describe things really well in such a few amount of words. Keep it up :) |
Malta-chan765 chapter 2 . 7/5/2014 You are evil. That makes me love you! This is really awesome! I am glad to finally find a fanfiction that is actually being worked on and that is not abandoned. |
Resucitated-Blue chapter 1 . 7/2/2014 This a very interesting story and I am very curious to see what will happen to Ukraine as she continues. The way you wrote the narrative in short bits really helped keep things moving, despite being exposition. Good work. |
