I really liked the concept of this story. In it, we see something that is rarely ever mentioned; Big Three sibling fluff. (I mean come on imagine Zeus being this overprotective strict older brother and like Poseidon and Hades roughhousing and playing pranks while Zeus tries to keep up this 'no fun' facade but like lol no. Okay I'm done.)
And it's very nice of you to note that we can't exactly take relationships for granted. I thought it was a great message. I also really liked the whole Hades thing: how he's not, um, how he's not inhumane and more lonely in general. He still has some humanity, also portrayed in the books. Me likey.
The s&g: I spotted maybe one or two minor mistakes, but it was overall better.
